A few months ago Jeremy, our warehouse manager, “bulls eye” Bob, and I gassed up the old Ford … loaded up our rifles… and hightailed it out to Tennessee for a road trip, some good ol’ country tunes and of course … some of the best deer hunting in the country.
While we were on our hunt I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful the scenery was looking down the valley. From the rolling mountains, blue mist and the rugged landscape which was filled some of the most majestic pine trees I have ever seen.
On our way back to the cabin down this 4 mile dirt road, Jeremy looks over to me and says “Joe I’ve been inspired”.
About what? I asked.
He said the majority of our customers love the outdoors like us, so why not make a limited edition concealment shelf that celebrates the great outdoors and the American way of life.
“We could make the shelf out of solid white pine timber just like them trees you and I saw in the valley. We could hand distress it and give it that reclaimed wood look everyone wants now a days. And we could hand rub the finish to capture the natural grain and knots so that each shelf is its own work of art.” He said.
I was sold. Not only would a shelf like that look amazing in a log cabin or farmhouse … it would also look great in modern home too because that reclaimed/rustic look is the hottest trend in interior design today.

What is the Liberty 35S?
It’s our newest free floating shelf… equipped with a built in “locking” trap door that quickly and easily conceals and locks your guns, magazines or even valuables in plain sight anywhere in your house.
The Liberty 35S measures in at 30" x 8" x 3¾" and is handmade (no CNC machine) from real solid planks of American white pine… the same type of wood used to build high-end rustic furniture
Every piece of wood we use on your shelf is hand selected by our master carpenters and cut to the precise tolerances by hand. It is then distressed, the old fashioned way, with a chisel by one of our master carpenters giving it a one of kind reclaimed wood look that no machine can replicate.
Finally, each shelf is sanded and stained by hand carefully making sure the natural beauty of the grain shows without being blotchy. This gives it a rustic feel but with high end looks. It’s truly an art form which is why you will never see a product of this quality sold in Wal-Mart or Target. Best of all, it’s functional…no one will ever suspect you have your guns hidden inside.
The Liberty 35S comes equipped with our newest and most advanced RFID locking system. Included with the shelf will be 2 RFID cards, a key fob which works great on pair of keys and RFID token (new for 2018) that you can affix to the bottom of any knick knack you put on top of the shelf.
Best of all, this new lock also includes an external battery backup that lets you easily get in to your shelf even if the batteries are dead.
The Liberty 35S is designed to work easily with standard 2x4 construction... so it can be safely and securely mounted on any wall in any home or apartment. You don’t have to do any custom work to the wall...no additional supports… and there’s no sheetrock cutting or anything like that.
Just open up the box and screw it into the studs to your wall. It will take 10-minutes or so to install it... and the hardest thing you may experience while installing a Liberty 35S is what wall to put it on. That’s why many of our customers

I truly appreciate the workmanship that you put into all of the shelves and flag that I purchased. I got the shelves unfinished and stained them myself, but the flag trap I received already painted is awesome.?I am so happy with your products I am interested in purchasing more to sell in my store. My initial thoughts would be to purchase at least 2 of each shelf, and 2 of the red white & blue flags, and 2 of the darker flags.

?I have a Tactical Traps shelf installed in my den ? too high for young hands to reach but easy for me to access the contents.? As with most of us who value the ability to protect ourselves and quick access to our firearms, I haven't needed to use what's inside but having it 'at hand' gives me the knowledge that it's there when and if I need it.? The shelf was easy to install and is easy to access (which I do practice) ? I highly recommend the Tactical Trap units for easy access security.? I'd rate the quality and accessibility as a Five Star ? couldn't be better.

I have been searching for some place to have a few of my guns readily available in case of an emergency and I happened to come across your product and was originally kind of iffy on wether the look and quality would be up to standard. Wow, I was pleasantly surprised with the long and shorter versions I bought! The wood is very nice and the quality of it is AAA. The craftsmanship is top notch, perfectly fitted and the concept works very well, opening easily and with the lights that were included, there's no problem seeing in an emergency if your power would happen to be out. The batteries for the lights and unit itself are easy to access and change out, plus the alert system when the batteries are running low is an added peace of mind. The unit opens very smooth and is rock solid. Plus if you have a few guns, etc stashed around your home, this is definitely a nice place to keep them instead of hiding them all over, and mounting them was pretty easy. I'm very happy with my purchase and can say if you're looking for somewhere to keep some items hidden but easily accessible these are for you. Classic looking piece of furniture but very functional! Well done!

I am truly amazed at the quality and craftsmanship put into my tactical trap shelf. I ordered the unfinished wood so I could stain my shelf to match the other cabinets in my man cave. The shelf arrived 100% ready for stain. No additional sanding or filling in trim nail holes. I stained and put on 3 coats of poly and mounted my shelf to the wall. Not only does it match everything it functions as promised! I will recommend tactical traps to anyone looking for excellent quality and top performance concealment.?

My 2 pistol shelves work great and look awesome.? No one would ever know theres a gun hid inside. My only issue is the Freedom Rifle shelf, it ???looks great but will not open with the key card.? I have contacted the company to get further instruction.? But all in all, I love it.

?love the shelve and the quality of how it was made. I did however have quite a bit of trouble getting it to close because the pin was not lining up. You replied back and told me what to do and it fixed the problem. I would highly recommend this to anyone that has guns to store in and able to have access to when you need it.?

I have been to a lot of guns shows and seen a lot of secret shelves ,compartment etc.... and the overall fit and finish and craftsmanship of tactical traps is second to none , I like that it is also very easy to install. I am a custom home builder and we make a lot of our own wood beams,mantels so I don't buy a lot of other people's wood products because they are usually Crap but not tactical traps worth every penny!!!!
